Here are some basic tips you can keep in mind when trying to land a job as a comic creator.
First and foremost, begin saving some of your best work and put it into a portfolio that you can take with you when you go to future interviews. After all, nobody is going to hire you if they do not have a chance to see your work. Portfolios can be made available in physical copy or online, though it does not hurt to do both if you have the means. From there, begin looking for openings with major comic companies, as this will help you to find the ones that are hiring and that have availabilities for work in your area.
